Olympia Washington
Olympia is the capital of Washington state and is a small but well established city on Budd Inlet. Located Southwest of Tacoma and north of Grand Mound, the city is rich in history, culture and art and is a nice place to live and work. The entire downtown area has been designated as a National Historic District thanks to the history of the city.The economy of Olympia is small and diverse. Rail is run by Amtrak but the station is 8 miles outside of town at Olympia-Lacey at Centennial Station. The Amtrak Cascades and Amtrak Coast Starlight both stop at Olympia. There is no local light rail service.
Local buses are run by Intercity Transit and DASH while intercity buses are provided by Greyhound, Intercity Transit, Sound Transit and Rural Transit.
Road arrivals will use I-5 or Highway 101 to arrive and local routes within the city.
