Jersey Village, or JV to the locals is a neighborhood in Houston. It was mainly arable land for dairy farmers until the 1950s when it was settled along Jersey Drive. What began with a few residents grew steadily with the arrival of a school, park, golf course and volunteer police force. Now, it is home to around 8,000 people.

Jersey Village is valued as being a safe, relaxed place to live with many old world charms still remaining despite its proximity to the big city. Development continues apace here like the rest of the area, offering lots of housing and employment opportunities to residents.
