Lafayette Louisiana

Lafayette, Louisiana is located along the Vermilion River, west of Baton Rouge, south of Alexandria and east of Lake Charles. It’s a moderately sized city that has maintained a lot of its historical charm and character. Home to around 130,000 people, it is nicknamed The Hub City.

Greyhound run long-haul buses into town while Lafayette Transit System runs commuter buses around the city.

Car is the main mode of transport here, with the I-10 and I-49 intersecting north of town. Local routes handle everything else.
