Wichita Kansas

Wichita is the largest city in Kansas with a population of around 400,000 people. Located on the Arkansas River in central Kansas, the city is southwest of Kansas City and north of Oklahoma City. It’s a lively city with many cultural influences but retains that small town feel despite its size.

Wichita isn’t a large city and is only the biggest because Kansas City is split in two. However, it has a lot going on and is still influential in the aviation industry. It also has the third largest university in the country, Wichita State University which also exerts a cultural and economic influence over the city.

Corporate rentals in Wichita are made up of furnished apartments and townhomes. All are purpose-built in private developments and include everything you need to begin living right away.

There is no intercity train link but Amtrak runs a shuttle server to the Southwest Chief from the Wichita Transit Center.

Getting around by road is easiest. With I-35 and I-135 running into and out of the city and I-235 circling it with local routes handing the rest.
