Chautauqua Park was founded in 1898 and now hosts gardens, rock climbing areas, picnic spots, hiking trails, cultural exhibitions, displays and a whole lot more. The park is always open to visitors, and entrance is free, making for a perfect day out for those who love the outdoors.

The factory provides guided tours that tea you about tea, how it’s made, how the herbs are grown and turned into tea. Plus, there is a sampling session at the end.
Boulder Creek Path is a 5.5 mile trail that is a firm favorite with residents and visitors. It’s a peaceful trail with no cars that follows Boulder Creek from Boulder Canyon east to the Stazio Battlefield on the edge of town. It’s a lovely walk and can be taken at your own pace. Just don’t forget your camera!
The Pearl Street Mall is 12 blocks of shopping heaven. It contains the main chain stores, smaller individual shops, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and plenty of opportunities for people watching. We don’t always go there for the shopping, more to watch the world go by with a coffee and friends.
Eldorado Canyon State Park is yet another natural marvel available when you visit Boulder. The park is 885 acres of natural wilderness that encapsulates everything that our city is about. It’s rugged, serene, challenging and beautiful to behold. It is everything Colorado means and more. No visit to Boulder would be complete without a trip here.
