Mesa, Arizona is the state’s third largest city and is part of the Greater Phoenix Metroplex. It is 20 miles east of Phoenix with Tempe to the west, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to the north, Chandler and Gilbert to the south and Apache Junction to the east.Home to over half a million people, this is probably one of the larger cities few people have heard of.
